Based on my friend Megan's miniseries, Midsummer's Moon, Peter and the Wolf is about Lowell, his "furry problem", and Peter, the mad scientist he's sleeping with in one way or another. Lowell is a werewolf who, rather than turn into a raging beast during full moons, actually turns into a troublesome little dog-boy that likes to play in the neighboring vampire's garlic garden. His relationship with Peter is also not what you'd expect.
