| PREVIEW | From The Book o' Summer Love
How to Ride a Bike by Sarah Brinkman Matt lived for summers. Not just for the 3 months free of crazed professors, all nighters and papers galore. And not because he made an obscene amount of money to make sandwiches and ring up snotty business people while the owner (his Uncle Seth) hid in the back. Steven would lean against the counter and eat whatever new creation Matt had served him and chat until a run came in. Matt was never sure if Steven was flirting with him or not. The line between "friendly chat with the deli guy" and "I think you are cute, make a move, will you" was a very confusing one. He was pretty sure the sticker on the back of Steven's helmet meant that he liked guys and not rainbows in the happy magical rainbows and unicorns sense of the word. Still. This was the third summer and Steven had yet to do more than smile and tell Matt that his grilled mushroom panini was "to die for." ... |
