| ABOUT |
Every summer, One “L” Innovations sponsors a themed anthology, open to any and all who wish to participate. Works of short fiction, comics, pin-ups, drabbles, poetry and photos are all accepted. Both print versions and e-versions of the books are made available.
The anthologies are meant to be fun and low stress. They're mostly to give creators the chance to see their work in print and hopefully the opportuinty to make some friends amongst their fellow creators. Deadlines are firm, but there are never any hurt feelings if real life gets in the way and you can't make it -- it happens to everyone! Editorial policies are strict, but as long as a submitter follows the theme and submissions guidelines and his/her work shows consistency, there shouldn't be any problems. (We've not had to turn anyone down yet!) If you'd like to get involved with this year's anthology and want more indepth submissions information, please stop by our Livejournal Community for more information. If you have any futher questions, feel free to e-mail Alison. |

A bit more conceptual than our other themes, PINK! is meant to resemble a Japanese style comics magazine pulled from the shelf as random. All of the comics are in the middle of their storylines, but should still be able to be understood by the reader. The book features articles more than fiction. If you have ideas on a how-to article or a bok or movie you'd like to review for the "magazine," we'd love to hear from you. February 4, 2008 For More Information: Click Here |
Write, draw or otherwise create in two dimensions your own fairy tales, myths, legends and folk tales. Or, bring a new twist on the classics. September 1, 2008 For More Information: Click Here |
